how can i make the "uninstall" item available? [message #466654]

In my eclipse's Product Configuration plane(toolbar menu-->Help-->Sofeware
Updates-->Manage Configuration), the popup menu's item uninstall is not
available that it is gray and could not be chosen. I don't know how to
adjust it. Please tell me how to deal with it. Thank you very much!

It is only available for features that were installed using the update
manager. If they were installed by hand then this will be disabled.
