Hi,

Here is a snippet which shows how to detect right click mouse event on a
Canvas :

import org.eclipse.swt.SWT;
import org.eclipse.swt.events.MouseAdapter;
import org.eclipse.swt.events.MouseEvent;
import org.eclipse.swt.layout.GridData;
import org.eclipse.swt.layout.GridLayout;
import org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Canvas;
import org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Display;
import org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Shell;

public class DemoCanvasRightClick {

public static void main(String[] args) {
Display display = new Display();
Shell shell = new Shell(display);
shell.setLayout(new GridLayout(1, false));

Canvas canvas = new Canvas(shell, SWT.BORDER);
GridData gridData = new GridData();
gridData.grabExcessHorizontalSpace = true;
gridData.grabExcessVerticalSpace = true;
gridData.verticalAlignment = SWT.FILL;
gridData.horizontalAlignment = SWT.FILL;
canvas.setLayoutData(gridData);
canvas.setLayout(new GridLayout());

canvas.addMouseListener(new MouseAdapter() {

public void mouseDown(MouseEvent event) {
if (event.button == 3) {
System.out.println("Right click !");
}
}
});

shell.setSize(300,150);

shell.open();
while (!shell.isDisposed()) {
if (!display.readAndDispatch())
display.sleep();
}
display.dispose();
}
}
