I am not able to see table grids on linux. Is there any other setting i
need to do on linux to be able to view table frids. I am usign 3.1.1 GTK
(GNOME) on Suse.

On Linux, rather than lines to delineate a grid the native table widget uses
alternating dark and light background colours (of course this depends on the
theme applied but most follow this style).
