I have been working my way through the Hyperbola example of the RCP book
with the usual set of false starts and silly errors. On the whole,
however, since that tutorial was very well conceived, I have managed to
make reasonable progress. Now, however, I am getting a start-up failure
for which I cannot find help here or on any other forums.

So, before going 'back to square one' yet another time, I have some basic
questions concerning versions:

01. Can the Hyperbola product build/deployment positively work using
Eclipse 3.3?
02. Can the Hyperbola product build/deployment positively work using JDK
6?

If I back off to Eclipse 3.2 AND JDK 5, I can succeed. If I cannot
succeed with the most current versions of the workbench AND the JDK:

03. Is there any effort to upgrade the tutorial to the latest releases of
these toolkits?
04. If I can only have one current toolkit, is it the JDK or the
Workbench on which I can base a production product release?

Thank you.
