why a 32bit bitmap image for Windows when exporting a product? [message #461892] Wed, 17 January 2007 16:43 Go to next message

Hey everyone,
I am trying to export a product and while trying to customize the laucher
for the product, i noticed that there needed to be 32bit Windows Bitmap
files. At first this seemed to be no problem, until i realized that i can
not find anything to convert my 24bit bitmap to a 32bit bitmap. Is there
any specific reason behind this? Or can anyone point me in the direction of
a converter? Thanks

Chris

Christopher,
I assume you are talking about the icons embedded in the executable?

Export is only capable of replacing images that are already in the executable.
That means that your icons must match the size and bit depth of the images that
are in there.
