Help Plugin [message #460059] Tue, 12 December 2006 16:15 Go to next message

Hi,
I have developed a standalone plugin as a Help Plugin to my RCP Application.
I have added this help plugin to the feature used by my RCP.
And added the feature to the RCP product configuration.

When I run the RCP as a product, the help plugin does not load. All the
other plugins
in my feature show up.

Is there a step missing to allow the help plugin to show.

Thanks,

Hi,

did you update the configuration page in the "yourProductName.product" file
to handle
ALL plugins that are needed ? Do you have an error message ?

regards

I had not checked the help plugin in the product's launch configuration .

It's a little odd that I had to do this explicitly. I would think that if I
add a feature to the
product's configuration page, all the plugins specified in the feature would
be loaded automatically.
That's how it was working previously. It could be a synchronisation issue.

Thanks for you help.
