any API to set description and/or title of the "new wizard"? [message #460058] Tue, 12 December 2006 16:02 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
R3.2.1; WinXP

I have two items that plug into org.eclipse.ui.newWizards; both of the appear in the "new wizard"
(and work) when the user presses "CTRL-N" in my running RCP.

Now, I'd like to have some title and/or description other than the "generic" one provided by the
new-wizard -- there seems to be no API for that (and nothing in the plugin.xml); yet the "new
wizard" of the Eclipse IDE updates the description on every selection. How is that done? And is it
also possible to specialize the title?

thanks,
Paul

For description, I see it now -- add the child "description" element, and fill in its "Body Text".

What about "title"?
