Add javadoc for context help to a plugin [message #459294] Thu, 30 November 2006 03:31 Go to next message

Hello!

For our project a needed library is provided as plugin that a team mate
created. Sadly I don´t have context help in the editor when I work with
classes from the library. Does anybody know how to configure the javadoc
path? Perhaps the javadoc can be added to the plugin. I´ve tried now for
some time and still have no idea.

Thanks

Stephan

Is that the "real" plug-in which you ship or is it just a helper
plug-in? Is it in a repository?

It´s just a helper plugin to provide some libraries. It is located in
the eclipse/plugins folder. We will have to provide it later as own
plugin I know.
I wondered how the eclipse plugins provide autocompletition. I´m pretty
new to eclipse.

OK, then simply tell the one who creates that plug-in to add the Javadoc
and/or source to that plug-in and configure it correctly before
distributing to the others.
