Debuging embended javascript [message #46203] Wed, 15 June 2005 06:00 Go to next message

Hi all

I guess that BIRT's scripting language is rhino [1]. In this case rhino
debuger is available [2].
If all this are corect, is it possible to enable (somehow) this debuger to
debug scripts that live in reports?

I have see this work at Cocoon [3] where rhino is used as the control layer
in web-forms handling

regards

Stavros

Stavros,

Javascript debugging within the BIRT report development environment is
possible, but has not been implemented for the 1.0 release. We are
currently evaluating requirements for future releases, and rhino script
debugging will be one of the options that we look at.
