Hi,

I notice the Azureus bitTorrent application ships with the library
libswt-kde-gtk-3106.so.

As far as I can see this is not part of the standard SWT distribution.

I've had a quick look look in the Azureus cvs repository and searched for it
on Google but cannot find any info.

Anyone know anything about it?

Steve.

What do you want to know about it? I think It is a previous version of
swt shipped with Eclipse 3.1M series. For example with Eclipse 3.1M6 you
can use swt-3.1M6 which inludes libswt-kde-gtk-3128.so.

I've just upgraded to Mandrake LE2005 from 10.1.

I use the KDE desktop.

In Eclipse 3.0.2 I'm having problems with dialog buttons incorrectly sizing.

This results in only the top of each character on the button label being
visible.

Everything was OK on Mandrake 10.1

Azureus is fine so I started probing to see what libraries/jars it uses.
Thats when I found libswt-kde-gtk-3106.so.

I swapped out the SWT libs and jars in Eclipse 3.0.2 and used the Azureus
ones. This improves things but the button labels are still not perfect.

I think I'll download and install 3.1M6 and see how I get on with that.

Thanks for the info.

Steve.

Steve,

The libswt-kde-gtk-3106 library would not be involved in the problem that
you describe. You should get the 3.1M7 build that will be ready this
Friday, and if you still see the problem then please log a bug report with
Platform - SWT.
