TableViewer: radiobutton behaviour [message #453948] Thu, 14 April 2005 11:25
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,

I need a table with four columns, two of them must display boolean
values. Is there some native way to display radio button in a table cell?

For now (as workaround) I use images, displaying radio buttons in its
two states (please see the screenshots below).

I would be happy with that, but there comes another problem: I cannot
align the image to the center of the column. Therefore I had to widen my
images in a way, that the radio button is exactly in the middle of the
column. But when a table row is selected, the user sees the image
background (unless it is a transparent GIF!), which spoils the look of
the application. Please see the screenshots:

If someone has an idea how to implement radio behaviour or at least how
to align images in a column, I would be more than thankful :)
