We are evaluating using the Eclipse RCP as the application deployment
platform for in-house enterprise applications. I've come across a couple
blog entries that suggested deploying a base RCP launch pad application.
Applications are then deployed into this lauch pad as plugins from an
update site. This appears to be a very efficient way of deploying
multiple applications.

Problem is, I haven't been able to find any resources on how to go about
assembling this basic framework. Do I start by using the Feature project
wizard for the base launch pad? And then progress to using the Plugin
project wizard for the individual applications?

Any pointers to tutorials or help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
