Error exporting product for multiple platforms [message #449572] Mon, 15 May 2006 22:14 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Ihave tried this on several versions of Eclipse on Windows, for a product
that I have exported many times in the past. When I try to export for Mac
OSX (carbon/ppc) I get the following error.

C:\Documents and Settings\Dan\My
Documents\JavALISA\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.pde.core\t emp\org.eclipse.pde.container.feature\package.org.eclipse.pd e.container.feature.macosx.carbon.ppc.xml:230:

C:\Documents and Settings\Dan\My
Documents\JavALISA\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.pde.core\t emp\assemblyLocation\tmp\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.core.re sources.compatibility_3.2.0.v20060510
not found.

As you can see, this error was prodcued by the latest release of Eclipse,
3.2.0v20060510.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I found that if I simply removed the fragment
org.eclipse.core.resources.compatibility the problem goes away, and the
app seems to run fine on windows and mac.

Any ideas as to why this fragment used to be necessary/required and now
causes an error?
