Plate figure of an editpart [message #44827]

Hi,
Can you explain what is the purpose of DefaultSizeNodeFigure, every
editpart use it as a plate figure, why? I was told that this has been
discussed before, but I failed to find any post here..
I'm going to add an editpolicy that change figure's background color when
mouse enters, here getHostFigure() returns the plate figure, if I add
mousemotionlistener this figure, nothing would happened. Instead, I had to
get the real figure above this plate figure (using
getChildren().get(0))and add listener to it, isn't it inconvenience?
