I had a project in Eclipse 3.0 on Linux Fedora 2.
The project became corrupted.
I decide to re-create it.

I removed the folders and files on the hard drive.
I create a new project with the same name.
It refuses to create this project.
Somehow Eclipse keeps track of project names even after removing the
directory structure and all files.

Any direction?
