Binary parser c++filt problems? [message #44440] Wed, 09 October 2002 15:06

Hi,
I'm having serious problems with the CDT when trying to parse binary
files containing c++ code. The entire IDE locks up and when executing
a 'ps -a' in a terminal window, the only gnu tool running is the
c++filt. Terminating the c++filt process makes the IDE unlock and
display the symbols of the binary without name demangling.
Anyone got any clues what could be wrong?

Im using:
eclipse -> Version: 2.0.1
Build id: 200208291828
cdt -> 2002/10/09 for win32
cygwin c++filt -> "GNU c++filt (C++ demangler), version 2.95.3-5"
