How to display Execution/Run Time of SQL [message #44279] |

In a prior DTP version, the run time of the SQL was displayed in
milliseconds at the bottom of the SQL editor window. In the version
shipping with Europa (1.5.2?) I can't find the run time of the SQL
execution/run time anywhere? The SQL Results panel shows the start
date/time, but not the end date/time or total run time. We have to
develop SQL statements against very large multi-terabyte databases and
this metric is critical.

Hi Craig!
Go ahead and submit it as an enhancement request for the Data
Tools/SQLDevTools project and we'll take a look at it for the next major
release.

Clarification: MyEclipse has its own database project/SQL editor, and
that's what I had used in the past that showed elpased run times down to
the millisecond.
I'd like to request the same ability from the DTP project, if its not
already available and I'm just missing it.
Thanks,
