Hi:
I saw the new forum, so I signed up. I sort of have an idea about what this
is, however, I do not know exactly. Can someone provide me a URL or link to
where this technology is going on or where I might obtain a download to see
this new "product" in action?
I'm new to Eclipse overall, but I like it! I am writing SQL plugins now to
help me at work and learn how to write to the Eclipse platform.
Thanks,
David

Hello David,

The project page is at: http://eclipse.org/vep/
There are a lot of links in there, whitepapers, and so on that will give
you a basic grounding in the project.
If you want to download and experiment with it, from that page click
"Download Page", then click 0.5.0 Stream Stable Build (the actual link
text is right next to it as : S20031113)
(The eclipse link is points to the Windows version; substitute for your
platform as necessary)
Remember to download the eclipse-2.1.2, EMF and GEF as well as the VE
Unzip the EMF, GEF and VE inside your eclipse folder
Hopefully, that will get you started along the way.
