Are you working on an existing visual class or a completely new class?

What version of Eclipse and VE are you using? You may want to make sure you
are using compatable versions of the two and their corresponding related
components.

You might want to look in the log file which is contained in your workspace
directory in the .metadata subdirectory which may provide some additional
insight into the problem.
