Hello,

I just read an article about CDO and i found it quit interesting.
Currently we are using Pojos/ViewModel to store an display data.

Is it possible to create BirtQueries with EMF ?
We have lists of about 50.000 to 100.000 Customers in one single table.
Can EMF handle this ?

Where can i find docs/samples for CDO ?

Thanks

Andreas

Andreas,

The manual on the homepage is not very complete yet. Please browse
through these sources of information:

- http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDO

And of course we're here for more concrete questions ;-)

Regarding optimized list handling (and othe optimizations) you may want
to check out: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Tweaking_CDO_Performance

Cheers
/Eike

Andreas,

I think there is support for querying EMF objects with BIRT, but it's
best to ask about BIRT on the BIRT newsgroup. I don't know so much
about it. Maybe someone else does...

Guys,

I know somebody who has developed a Ecore ODA driver but it would need
some finishing IIRC...
