hello,

in our project, we need to use eclipse v.3.4; and thus we cannot use CDO
v.2.
so, what is the biggest drawback of using CDO v.1 comparing with v.2?
is the use of CDO v.1 completely discouraged; e.g because of bugs that
have only been fixed in v.2?

cheers,

steven

Steven,

While I know that some clients still use v1 in production it's
discouraged because some bugs have only been fixed in v2. It has also
been reported that CDO v2 works with Eclipse 3.4 and EMF 2.4 but this
setup is not officially supported by the CDO team, no guarantees can be
made.

Cheers
/Eike
