Hi,

is it possible to disable the Action "Open a perspective" in the
perspective bar?

To make echo to Franz, I would like to make disapearring the Action
"Open a perspective" too. Actuall, I would like to have all the
perspectives I've created displayed at launch time.

That's my case too :)

And is it possible to have the perspective bar displayed "a la Eclipse",
folding into actions bar?

I like this way to show the bar

Posting here won't do you any good :) Developers won't know.
You should open a enhancement request to platform ui.

Note that I believe that the PerspectiveRegistry is available so you can
program your own perspective switcher with little effort.

You're a developer and you know. ;-}

It's entirely appropriate to ask questions on the newsgroup before
firing off enhancement requests for things that, for all you know, may
already be there.

I'm a newbie myself so this might not be right. But can't you just disable
the menu that lets the user switch perspectives and then use the
PerspectiveFactory interface to define your default perspective with the
fixed property set to true so the user can't close it?

I would want to implement my own perspective switcher for my RCP app.

How could I do to inject it into the WorkbenchWindow?
