In your notes
http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_for_CDO_and_Net4j#Why_does_p2_co mplain_about_unsatisfied_dependencies.3F
you detail how to install CDO with p2.

I have a CDO Head source workspace ( as in
http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDO_Source_Installation ). I took the springsource
plugins from the target workspace of this install, including the
repackaged hibernate jar and placed them in the
dropins/CDOOptions/eclipse/plugins directory of my eclipse install.

I then tried to install CDO2.0 using p2 with the update site
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/updates/milestones/
from whence I selected only "EMF CDO SDK 2.0.0M3 S200811170329: contains
runtime, source, and documentation"

p2 declined to install with the following info...

mea culpa, I had a later version of com.springsource.org.objectweb.asm in
the source install, which was being ignored there, but not in my dropin
area where it was overriding 1.5.3 which is the version required ( to 2.0
) by org.hibernate.

JF,

Yes, it's so easy to get messed with all these dependencies...

Cheers
