plugin.xml gone for osgi "plugins" [message #42740] Thu, 03 June 2004 09:21 Go to next message

Hei
finally the plugin.xml is gone for the osgi "plugins"...
I have been using the xslt to analyze plugin dependencies
(this had the advantage that all I needed was xslt and the knowleged
where the plugins folder is)
this falls now flat on its nose when traversing to the osgi guys.
Is it possible to copy the old plugin.xml
in the m9 osgi plugin dirs? i.e.
Do the old plugin.xml still correctly correspond to the new m9 osgi
bundles and do they hurt?
Regards
Georg Lenz

This will work in the short term, but will give you imprecise results in
the long term when full power of bundles starts to be exploited.
