[Teneo] Latest milestone does not show in list of plugins [message #422739] Mon, 15 September 2008 13:36 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I updated to the latest milestone from the 15th Sept. I had deleted
previous version first. I unzipped the entire content with path
information into my Ganymede install directory form
emf-teneo-runtime-M200809150739.zip

I checked and all the plugin and feature artifacts are there. But when I
restarted Eclipse 3.4 I can only see the
org.eclipse.emf.teneo;bundle-version="1.0.1"
appears in the "Required plugins" list of availalbe plugings to add, not
the teneo.hibernate packag eI expected to see.

But these are in configuration

file:/D:/e3_4/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.teneo.annotati ons_1.0.1.v200809150739.jar

file:/D:/e3_4/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.teneo.doc_1.0. 0.v200806111928/

file:/D:/e3_4/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.teneo.eclipse_ 1.0.1.v200809150739.jar

file:/D:/e3_4/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.teneo.hibernat e.eclipse_1.0.1.v200809150739.jar

file:/D:/e3_4/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.teneo.hibernat e.mapper_1.0.1.v200809150739.jar

file:/D:/e3_4/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.teneo.hibernat e_1.0.1.v200809150739/

file:/D:/e3_4/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.teneo.jpox.ecl ipse_1.0.1.v200809150739.jar

file:/D:/e3_4/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.teneo.jpox_1.0 .1.v200809150739/

file:/D:/e3_4/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.teneo_1.0.1.v2 00809150739.jar

What else do I need to do to get it to show up?

David

Hi David,
I am not sure if you already did this. With 3.4 plugins/features can not be copied directly to the
eclipse directory. You have to use the update manager or the dropins folder:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox_p2_Getting_Started

Let me know if this does (not) solve your issue.
