Hello,
why does the org.eclipse.rap.w4t depend on the plugin javax.servlet? It also
imports the requiered packagaes. Depending on the plugin javax.servlet cause
errors in my tomcat environment.

Regards,
Markus

Hi,

with the latest version of RAP, there should be no need for the
org.eclipse.rap.w4t plug-in anymore, since all core functionality has been
moved to the org.eclipse.rap.rwt plug-in. So whether w4t depends on
javax.servlet or not should be of no interest, as you should be able to
remove the w4t plug-in completly. But still you are right, I also think that
there should be no need for the the servlet-plug-in dependency.

Ciao
Frank

Thanks Frank,

I had an old feature that included it. So now everything is fine.

Markus

thanks for the hint, Markus. The changes are committed to CVS HEAD.
org.eclipse.rap.w4t no longer depends on the javax.servlet bundle.

Cheers,
Rüdiger
