Error state remains after a problem is fixed [message #42413] Wed, 28 May 2003 15:49 Go to next message

Over the last week I have been having a problem with updates when a file is
changed. The change does not seem to be accurately reflected in dependant
files. For example if filea.java uses a class in fileb.java, but the method
is missing an error is correctly flagged. If I now add that method
filea.java still as an error marked against it. In the file itself the red
cross is now a black cross and the error is still marked as a red cross in
the package explorer. I can remove the error by cutting and pasting the
line on which the error was initially flagged. As anyone else witnessed
this on V2.1. Obviously something as changed, just don't know what, I've
tried clearing the bin directory, but no success.
