static methods from image [message #42399] Tue, 21 August 2007 03:59 Go to next message

Hello all,

I have a little problem since M6. As far as I have read the static utility
methods from class Image have been moved to class Graphics. I was able to
find the findImage methods in Graphics, but I couldn't find any substitute
for Image.getPath(image).
I probably missed something, but I read the "New and noteworthy" and didn't
see anything else concerning this problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Vedran Blazevic

Hi,

the method in question was moved to the internal class ResourceFactory
and renamed to getImagePath as we think it should not be part of the API.
The WidgetLCAUtil#writeImage(*) methods which are part of the yet
provisional custom-widget-developer API are intended to deal with
images. Please let us know if these methods don't serve your needs,
preferably with the user case at hand.

Thanks,
Rüdiger
