I have an .ecore file and now I want to generate the corresponding
..genmodel file. How do I do that? I seem to missing the wood because of
all the trees and can't find how I can do that.

I know, that I could create it by using the Wizard to create me a new
EMF project by importing from that .ecore file, but I already HAVE an
EMF project (which contains that .ecore file (and only the .ecore file
so far, no .genmodel file). So, how can one create the .genmodel after
the fact, i.e. without using the Wizard to create a new project?

Nevermind - I found it! New => EMF Model => ... => Select a model
importer...

My only excuse for abusing the bandwidth: it's already pretty late here
.... :-)

Michael,

In all fairness, it's really not all that obvious... It only seems that
way after you've figured the fact...

Then why don't you simply rename the label to "EMF Generator Model"? ;-)

Volker,

It seems I've had this kind of discussion with Dave. :-P I've added
him to the CC list to prompt him. We probably ought to move the wizard
for creating an Ecore instance out of the example category as well...
