Hi,

I just downloaded emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-2.4.0M4.zip and it does not seem to
include/contain the the org.eclipse.emf.http plugin. So, do I need to
download it from some place else?

Hi, AJ,

The servlet plug-in is attached to the bug. Its only purpose is to provide
a test environment for the URIConverter's new capabilities, so it is not in
the EMF SDK.

Cheers,

Christian

So, how can one run Ed's instructions if an org.eclipse.emf.http plugin is
never listed?

"In the Run dialog, you can create an OSGi Framework launcher by
deselecting
everything, selecting org.eclipse.emf.http, and then including all plugins
it
depends on. You need to create the folder
c:/org.eclipse.emf.http.respository
and then you can read and write to that folder using
http://localhost/org.eclipse.emf.http.respository/..."

Thanks!

AJ,

You have to install it from the attachment. Just use
"File->Import->General->Existing projects into workspace"

Thanks Christian and Ed.

What about the last 2 patches Ed delivered on 08/24 and 08/30, are they in
the 2.4.0M4 build?

Also, the org.eclipse.emf.http plugin from 08/04 is the latest and
greatest, correct?

Thanks again!

AJ,

Yes, all the patches (as opposed to the zip file with the test case) are
in M4. I think they were in M3 even, but I made changes since then,
i.e., https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=207671, to
generalize access to arbitrary attributes.

This bug was fixed back on 2007/10/02, well before M3. The latter bug
was fixed on 2007/10/31, one week before M3.

For details, see:

Not sure about the emf.http plugin -- can't seem to find it in CVS. Does
it perhaps live under a different name?

Cheers,

Nick
