Anthony,
You mean when editing an actual .ecore instance, right? I suppose that
could be done by setting a sorter on the tree viewer. I wonder if some
type of support for that would be cool to add to the generated editor?
I suspect it would confuse drag and drop badly because the underlying
item providers wouldn't know the actual order being displayed. In any
case, there's no extension point way to inject this, but you might want
to experiment by changing the editor. Maybe this is something you could
contribute.
