why cannot see emf 2.3 plugin in eclipse 3.3 [message #414589]

Hi all,
I try to migrate to emf 2.3 + eclipse 3.3, I copy
plugins/ and features/ into eclipse sdk's plugins/ and features/ .
But eclipse's plugin detail list only have 'Eclipse Modeling Framework(EMF)
Source' item,
and Eclipse have no ecore editor to open my ecore file.

Version: 3.3.1.1
Build id: M20071023-1652

EMF package: emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-2.3.1

??

Anthony,

A likely reason would be that you are running with a 1.4 JRE and EMF
needs a 5.0 JRE. When you run eclipse, use -clean -debug flags and look
at the Error Log view for details about why plugins might not be
activating properly.

Hi Ed,
Yes, You are right.
The eclipse startup vm is 1.4. After changed to 5.0 JRE , everything is
OK.
