Long running "Building workspace" [message #40808]

Hello,

I installed the IBM Web Tools (ibm.zip) and use it mainly to edit my
XML-Files.
The Web Tools have added a Structured Builder to the .project-files of my
projects:

<buildCommand>
<name>com.ibm.sse.model.structuredbuilder</name>
<arguments>
</arguments>
</buildCommand>

Often Eclipse is busy with "Building Workspace, Invoking Structured Document
and
Model Builder on ..." This takes several minutes!

Anything I can do to speed this up?

The only "speedup" in the initial contribution is to disable the
builder. To do so, remove/comment out the
org.eclipse.core.resources.builders extension in
eclipse/plugins/com.ibm.sse.model_6.0.0/plugin.xml .
