If I have a Circle figure uses a ChopBoxAnchor and I draw a connection with
an arrow to that Circle figure, how can ChopboxAnchor finds out the edge of
the Circle figure and place the arrow of the connection right at the edge?

The ChopBoxAnchor should have no what the of shape the figure that it
attached, right?

My understanding is that ChopBoxAnchor only knows about the bounding box of
the figure it applies to, and it is located at the center of this box. For
some figures, it can be unappropriate so in this case you would implement
your own anchor, like "HelloGef 6" at Eclipse Wiki Site / GEF / Examples.

I just released EllipseAnchor (contributed by Alex Selkov) into CVS. Use this
instead of ChopboxAnchor and it should work.
