Friends of Eclipse,
The zClipse project proudly announces the long-awaited release of
Insectivore 1.1. For those not familiar with this revolutionary plugin,
Insectivore allows sharing of tasks in the Eclipse Tasks view. It uses
an eclipse project's source control system (CVS, Clearcase, etc.) to
synchronize the tasks in each developer's workspace (more information
may be obtained from www.zclipse.org/projects/insectivore).
This release includes some tiny aesthetic changes as well as three new
features:
Formal task storage folders - you now have the option of storing
tasks in a folder associated with a task's state. For example, if a
task's state is "Completed" it could be stored under
/foo/bar/completed. Any task whose state changes to completed will be
moved to that folder.
File links - a "Add Link" button enables you to create a hyperlink
on a teamtask to any file in the workspace.
Zero Effort Feedback (ZEF) plugin - Insectivore uses the ZEF
extension point to give our users nearly effortless access to the
zClipse team. The ZEF uses anonymous posting to Sourceforge project
forums to "shorten the distance" between plugin users and developers.
So if there's anything you'd like added or changed, or would just like
to send a word of encouragement, the ZEF is a no-hassle, zero
committment way to that. For more info go to www.zclipse.org/projects/zef.
Check it out and let us know what you think!
The zClipse team
