Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to post a quick update. We published a new version of OHF
yesterday with a few XDS bug fixes and a couple Bridge bug fixes. We
feel good about the state of the code and are ready to move into final
preparation for Connectathon. At a certain point we'll issue a final
release before Connectathon week begins.

TLS Certificates - Keystore / Truststore

Important: For those that still need TLS key/trust stores for use with
OHF... Please email me ASAP with your private key and public certificate
and I will generate that for you. My email address is
mattadav@us.ibm.com. Once we get to Chicago, we'll create another
truststore with "the rest" of the machines that have been added since a
couple weeks ago. This will be available early Monday morning.

IBM Public Infrastructure for XDS and ARR

In case you aren't subscribed to the IHE mailing lists and are looking
for infrastructure to test with, IBM has recently published the details
for their public XDS.a & XDS.b registry/repository and their Audit
Repository. To the details on how to connect, please see this link:
http://lswin10.dfw.ibm.com:9081/IBMIHII/serverInfoIHE_Connec tathonHIMSS2007.htm

Other companies are publishing their infrastructure info on the Web as
well. We have done some testing with these other companies on our own
and I know some OHF users are involved. If you run into problems with
any infrastructure in pre-Connectathon testing, please report a bug and
post immediately. It is very important that we work out these kinks
before we get to Connectathon.

Connectathon Week

Connectathon starts in a little over a week! Once it begins, we will
publish an info page that details how to acquire the latest builds of
OHF and report problems in Chicago. As bug are discovered and fixed
(which will happen!), we'll post incremental updates to the OHF
libraries on our local distribution page. For the OHF veterans, it'll
operate much like last year. We'll send out more detailed information
later about how we'll handle logistics around OHF support at Connectathon.

As you may have noticed, Connectathon organizers are grouping together
actors with infrastructure in fixed time slots, starting early Monday.
From our previous experiences at Connectathon, we don't necessarily
believe this is a good idea and will just likely add to the chaos that
is all-day Monday and Tuesday morning. Additionally, this will
complicate things a little bit, however, we (OTHER_IBM) have lucked out
and will be doing XDS.b testing first. Our main concern is to get that
right as early as possible - so that it doesn't drag down testing later
in the week. We're very confident in our XDS.a, PIX, and PDQ
implementations but feel that XDS.b testing may be a complete mess.
Hopefully our fears will be unfounded and everyone will be done testing
by Wednesday morning ;)

That leads to another note --- if you're a first-time participant at a
Connectathon, my best advice to you - and you're going to hear me say
this multiple times - is to *BE PATIENT*. You absolutely, positively
will not pass everything on Monday. And unless you pay off a monitor,
it won't happen by Tuesday either. Monday will be a complete mess in
our experience. If you get anything other than time client verified on
Monday, you're doing VERY WELL!!! Be patient. Things can and most
certainly will go wrong. If it's noon on Tuesday and you're way behind,
don't worry - you still have plenty of time to finish.

That's it for now. As I said previously, we'll send more specific info
about our own logistics at Connectathon, who to talk to about what, how
to contact us, and such. If you have any questions, please either post
here or email me directly (mattadav@us.ibm.com)
