Hi eclipse.modeling.m2m.

I am conducting a transformation where I have made some changes to the
metamodel of the source model. I made these changes directly in the
metamodel editor of the source. However, there changes do not seem to be
registered in ATL. The metamodel I am using in my ATL transformation
(uri:http:///fmp.ecore), in the EMF Registry does not appear to have any
these changes reflected. Is there a way to import and then edit a
metamodel stored in the EMF Registry? The uri for the metamodel I am
using is listed (uri:http:///fmp.ecore) but I am not sure where there is
stored or how it got into the registry.

Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

Hi,

Do you use the context menu action "Register metamodel" to register your
metamodel or is it a metamodel provided by one of your Eclipse plugin?

Regards,
Freddy.

It is a metamodel provided by an Eclipse plugin - but I would like to
extract it from the EMF Registry to view it - and then possibly modify it
slightly. Is this possible?

Dear J Rusk,

I faced the same problem while using qvto uml2rdb example.
I could get and extract the *.ecore files for the xxxxxx.jar file, located
under xxx/eclipse/plugin directory, related to uml2rdb example.
then i created EMF project for *.ecore and *.genmodel files
then I update the *.ecore file
then generate the models
then export the models as plugins
then put them againg under eclipse/plugin directory

if you need more info I am available

regards
omran
