Trying to materialize from this cquery:

http://www.eclipse.org/buckminster/samples/queries/buckminst er-dev.cquery

In a vanilla Eclipse Galileo with Buckminster installed via GUI p2 running
on Fedora 11 (no solaris in sight).

I'm getting the errors & warnings below. Can anyone give me some tips?

Pete,

You need to download the RCP Delta Pack and add it to your target platform.

Hi Peter,
Buckminster should import all missing fragments into your workspace but here the dependency to one of those fragments
was inconsistent. I've fixed the culprit feature so this should be OK now.

The reason this hasn't been discovered earlier is that normally, we use the buckminster-dev.cquery with a PDE "Target
Platform Definition" where we either have the delta pack been included or where we use a "Software Site" with the
feature "Eclipse SDK" installed, "Incude required software" unchecked, and "Include all environments" checked. With such
a platform, none of the binary fragments will end up in your workspace.

The reason all platform dependent fragments are needed is that Buckminster is designed to be built so that the resulting
P2 repository contains features and products that are installable on all platforms. Your IDE (the default target
platform) will normally not include them since it's targeted to run on one platform only.

Kind Regards,
Thomas Hallgren

Thanks Thomas & Achim,

I was able to get past the materialization issue by installing the Delta
pack.
