Question on Product Build missing simpleconfigurator [message #385779] Wed, 03 June 2009 14:58

Hi - I have the following strange issue with the buckminster build. I
have a .product defined within a feature project. The feature includes
the simpleconfigurator bundle among other bundles. The product is feature
based and includes the feature defined in the feature project. When I
generate with buckminster and install the product I do not get the simple
configurator setup installed (such as the
configuration\org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator\bundles .info).
However, if I do a product export and install using the repository
exported from the product export I do get these files. My understanding
is that the setup of the simple configurator directories / config.ini
changes is triggered by the existence of the simpleconfigurator bundle.
However, this does not appear to work in Buckminster when the
simpleconfigurator is included as plugin in an included feature in the
product definition.
