Some I've already mentioned in the thread "new line after single line
comment returns column to column 1", but what I ran into today is even
weirder. Interestingly though, it's again a single EOL comment that's
confusing PDT:
- First I noted that a lot of task markers in the marging were one or
two lines off (too high), but not *all* of them.
- Then I noted that the expand/collapse markers in the margin were off
as well by one or two lines, except for a few near the top of the file
(a really big file, but that turned out not to matter): collapsing a
function isn't all that useful when you then can no longer even see teh
function name!
- Then I noted that task markers were *only* off for tags within
docblocks but not within program code.
Finially I noticed one section near the top of the file where a single
EOL comment line directly preceded a phpDoc(umentor) block... And that
docblock was not collapsible.
On a hunch, I added a blank line between the EOL comment line and the
docblock. Nothing... Then I saved the file. And suddenly nearly
everything fell into place, with one exception: the docblock following
the blank line following the EOL comment line is still not collapsible.
PDT seems to be a little ignorant how to deal with EOL comments...
So, where do I go to report this bug, and the others I noted? I'm sure
if they aren't "officially" reported, nothing will happen.
They're all time wasters - I'd much rather stay in PDT instwead of
repeatedly switching to external editors to get some real editing work
done!
