Hello,
I have installed MOFScript on my computer and when I open the MofScript
Preferences,it warns 'Values must be an existing directory' and the
'Apply' and 'OK' buttons are not activated.Even if I make changes to the
pathes.the OK button is not activated. Is it necessary to make changes to
the MOFScript Prefences?
In addition,I wonder whether the form of the input metamodel must be
'http://www.eclipse.org/emf/2002/Ecore'

Hello,
No, the paths are allowed to change. It only tells where to look for
additional metamodels, where to start when you are about to select a model
for a transformation etc..
I really do not understand that this does not work, if you; click on the
browse button, browses to any valid directory and do this for all the
fields, (metamodel, model, transformation, root gen dir)
If this does not work, could you please take a PrintScreen and send me the
image so I can look at the fields. I have never experienced this.
Best Regards,
G

Hello Ye,
Try using the browse functionality, and select some valid location e.g.
Metamodels:
\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.mofscript.editor_1.3.0\reposito ry\metamodels
Models: \Workspaces\runtime-EclipseApplication(1)
Transformations:
eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.mofscript.editor_1.3.0\repositor y\transformations
etc
Use right-click on the transformation file and choose properties to set the
output location of the generated files
It should not be necessary to change the values.
The input model can be ecore, uml, or whatever models based on EMF
Cheers,
G
