JVM Terminated. Exit code=1 [message #39007]

I cannot preview my report and have to end process the 'javaw.exe' and
then my BIRT will close automatically close and got this error

JVM Terminated. Exit code=1
C:\Windows\system32\javaw.exe
so on so forth..............

pls help..

Hi, WINS,

Can you provide more information about your environment and what you did?
Did you ever succeed previewing a simple report?

Hi Stanley,

Just found out that I had some syntax error in my java script that hides 1
of my columns.

This is java script that causes the error 'JVM Terminated. Exit code = 1'

if (condition) {
true;
}
{ false;
}

BTW, I'm using win xp, mysql 4.1, tomcat 4.1.31, j2sdk1.4.2 and BIRT m3...

Hi,

I suggest that if the java script has a syntax error BIRT must give a
warning message after clicking the OK button..just like exactly how the
'Query' works when creating a data set...
