Is there a way to use EclipseLink with Spring Framework without using JPA?

If so any location you can point me to get sample code or examples?

Apparently, JPA is the only option available.
Is there a way to access eclipselink classic API when using JPA?
There's a wiki page for it but it's empty.

Is there any conversion for mapping that has been done on Eclipselink to
JPA?
