Issue with excel export [message #369068]

Hi,

I have successfully exported report to excel, but it is showing XML
instead of data when I tried to open it in MS 2000. It works perfectly
fine with MS office 2007.
I am using Birt 2.5.
Do I need to do some settings? Does Birt support all versions of excel?
