Hello,

I want to dynamically set the step size of the associated y axis when I
resize the chart (SWT chart renderer). The axis values are running from 0
to 100 (%) and the step size should not be larger than 10. I've already
made different attempts to achieve this, for example setting the step size
via javascript with after/before/Rendering(...), but it doesn't work until
now.

Hello Jason,

calling beforeGeneration() and setting the scaling step does not solve the
problem. As long as the the step size and step number is zero (or at least
not set) BIRT auto scales the axes when you resize the chart. Once you've
set the scale step, auto scaling seems to be turned off and this step
value will be used not matter the length of the axis. But this causes
overlapping of the labels if the axis length is short. My solution now is
to not render labels with values I don't want to be displayed.
