Hi,
I'm using Mac osx 10.3.4 Eclipse 3.0, IBM web tools contrib. After
creating a webproject and creating a
simple class in the JavaSource folder, i get the following problems:
Severity Description Resource In Folder Location Creation Time
2 The project was not built since its build path is incomplete. Cannot
find the class file for
java.lang.Object. Fix the build path then try building this project
TestWebProject July 29, 2004 3:19:57 PM
Severity Description Resource In Folder Location Creation Time
2 The type java.lang.Object cannot be resolved. It is indirectly
referenced from required .class files
TestVor.java TestWebProject/JavaSource line 1 July 29, 2004 3:19:57 PM
It doesn't matter how simple the class is the error persists.
is there a workaround?
Thanks,
Tony

This happened to me. For some reason, the default JDK was not added to
the Java Build path. Just go into the project properties, the Java Build
Path, then the Libraries tab. You'll see that the JDK is not listed or
it will say that the JDK was not found. Click on the button for Add
Library and select 'JRE System Library,' then pick your JDK.
