Is it possible to turn off the php syntax checker?

It seems it checks the syntax virtually after every pressed key and
since in Europa PDT is quite slow, I was wondering if this is going to
speed things up.

Thanks,
Iavor

hm... all validators are turned of as well as reporting of problems
while typing - and the php validation still works.

I completely agree.

On slower machine, it makes the environment almost unusable.

I truly wish I could at least have a delay threshold before it scans the
content.

Hi,
What you call syntax checker, is actually builds the data for the outlines,
code assist etc.
The bad news is you can't disable it, and the good news is that the
mechanism was changed and it should work better now.
The next build will be ready tomorrow.

Yes, you are completely right.

Since Europe on every pressed key everything seems to be re-build (I
noticed how the Subclipse icons get constantly re-drawn).

Is 'tomorrow' the 16th?

The Eclipse updater still does not get any updates, or do you mean it's
in the nightly? If yes, do you know when it is going to be released?

Thanks,
Iavor

I guess you can use the latest integration build.

Guy.
