I am trying to install Eclpse on the RPI 4:
I downloaded from eclipse.org the AArch64 desktop IDE package and unzipped it in a subfolder.
Now the problem starts:
I double-clicked the file "eclipse-installer/eclipse-inst
This only works, if have started the desktop by "sudo startx"
So if I want to use eclipse, I always have to work with root-rights. and I get always warnings about that.

#1: How can I install eclipse, such that I can work als a normal user?

#2: How can I uninstall eclipse again?

Thanks in advance.

As a normal user, you can download a prebuilt package (you downloaded the Installer, the package downloads are further down the page) from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/ and unpack it
under the user's home directory as that user. That user should then be able to run it.
