when trying to connect Eclipse to SAP BTP via ADT it says

Failed to get service instance URL info for https://XXX.abap.us10.hana.ondemand.com: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException:
Using Eclipse version 2024|09 or Version 4.33

That looks like an issue with ADT connecting to a service endpoint run by SAP, so you'll need to reach out to SAP for support as they are involved at both ends.

Is under the scope of Eclipse to take care of the plug-ins or under the scope of SAP?
the following plug-in is missing:
"com.sap.adt.ddic.table.ui"
