Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble with Eclipse not recognizing the JDK path on my system. I've installed JDK 17 and set the path in the environment variables, but Eclipse keeps showing an error saying it can't find the JDK.

I've tried restarting Eclipse and my computer, but the problem persists. Can someone guide me on how to properly configure Eclipse to recognize the JDK path? Are there any additional steps I might have missed?

Thanks in advance for your help!

How was Eclipse installed, and which JDK 17 is it, both including the O.S and architecture?

If you use the installer you won't have this problem because it will either find the JDK automatically or you can locate manually and in either case it will test to confirm that the JDK is one that will work for the product version you are trying to install.

Note that the most recent release requires Java 21 so maybe that's your primary problem:
